An official trailer has been released for the new upcoming TV series The Night Agent, starring Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan.
Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent TV series is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller from Sony Pictures Television Studios for Netflix.
According to the official synopsis — Low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) works in the basement of the White House, manning an emergency hotline for American spies that never rings. Then a call comes in from a terrified civilian, Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan). Peter must protect Rose and work with her to uncover a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office and threatens the country.
The series is show-run and created by Shawn Ryan, also starring Hong Chau, Eve Harlow, Phoenix Raei, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins and D.B. Woodside.
It is scheduled to be released on streaming platform Netflix on March 23rd, 2023.
