A teaser trailer has been released for The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender.
Based on the French graphic novel series by Alexis Nolent aka Matz, according to the official synopsis — After a fateful near-miss, an assassin battles his employers and himself on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.
Directed by David Fincher, The Killer stars Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
The film is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd, 2023, with a theatrical release in select theaters on October 28th, 2023 to follow. It is then scheduled to be released on streaming platform Netflix, on November 10th, 2023.
According to Variety, Fassbender hasn’t been in a production since his last appearance in the 2019 film X-Men: Dark Phoenix as Erik Lehnsherr, after having taken up motor racing in 2017.
